Started by well known wedding photographer Soren Coughlin-Glaser, Portland Photobooth was the first booth to be fully portable in Portland. We have been renting our booths since 2006. Our Photobooths are a hit at any party. Got a power outlet? We’re there! Indoors or out we’ll come set up the booth, stick around, and take it down. We’ll travel to all Portland Metro locations as well as Vancouver, WA. We have a small travel fee for distances greater than 20 miles out of Portland.
This is how it works:
We arrive early and set up our photo booth, all we need is about a 4 x 8 section of floor and an outlet. Outdoor events are also possible.
Guests pick out a silly hat or mustache and go into the booth.
Groups of 1-10 can fit into our unique booth.
Guest push the button in the booth once and the booth takes four shots, about one every 4 seconds.
The guests see them selves and a countdown on the booths internal monitor.
When the last picture is taken the guest see a message to pick up their prints outside the booth.
Two strips come out of the booth.
The photo booth strips can be color or BW.
The strips are usually branded with event information. Wedding photo booths usually have the bride and groom’s names and date written at the bottom. Commercial event photo booths usually have a company or event logo at the bottom of the strips.
At a wedding, one of the strips is usually put into a guest book and the guests keep the extra strip. See the video below for a photo booth guest book example.
We can also set up an ipad station outside the booth that shows the guests their photo booth images and allows them to email, text message or facebook the images.
